Webinar: Learn all about joining and using Research4Life
Join us on Tuesday 24 November at 2 pm CET for a webinar that goes back to the basics! Our Research4Life experts will explain everything you need to know about joining Research4Life and make the most of its offering.
Webinar topics
We will cover a number of topics, including:
- What is Research4Life
- Eligibility
- How to register for access
- Usage policy
- Access to Research4Life
- How to communicate with the helpdesk
- Which resources are available in your country
- The Research4Life training portal
During the presentation, the trainers will answer frequently asked questions, for example about eligibility criteria, or how to check if your institution is already registered. They will also explain how you can check which resources are available in your country and organizations. Finally, there will also be plenty of time for questions.
This webinar is targeted both at current and prospective users of Research4Life. If you are a prospective user, it’s best to already double check whether you are in an eligible institution before registering for the webinar.
Do note that access to Research4Life is only granted at an institutional level. Therefore, it is best to involve your institution’s library if you are not working there yourself. Feel free to forward these webinar details to your institution’s librarians!
Meet the trainers
This webinar will be conducted by Maria Folch from the library of the World Health Organisation, who coordinates the Research4Life helpdesk, and Lenny Rhine, an experienced Research4Life trainer who runs the Librarians without Borders program at the Medical Library Association and has conducted more than 70 workshops around the world.
